Experimental Drawing – chapter 2 – my sketchbook contours

Here are some of my attempts at quick contours drawn blind. I managed not to look as I drew my hand and found it a useful exercise to concentrate solely on the lines of my hand. Drawing it at different angles helped me practise this technique. It has really helped me focus on the line and I followed the suggestion of imagining my pencil/pen actually touching the my hand. This is just an excerpt from my sketchbook but the exercise has helped me with my drawing technique and given me confidence to experiment as I am not worrying about the result.
